IN FONDEST MEMORY

DAD - JAMIE BEVAN 5/12/1972 - 16/11/2009

My dad sadly passed away this morning after an 18 month battle with cancer. 

RIP in my heart forever.  A true fighter and very brave man.

My name is Brinn Bevan date of birth 16//06/97. I am a competitive Gymnast.

I started swim and gym when I was 3 years old and my teacher was Gary Dove. On his advice my mum took me to South Essex Gym Club in Basildon, Essex. I was 6 years old at the time and was invited to join their development squad coached by Matt Jackson. Since 2005/6 I have trained with Scott Hann in his Top Squad.  Scott is a great coach and has helped me acheive a very high standard as a gymnast.

I work with 9 other boys in the squad Danny Lawrence 25, Dave Mott 18, Reiss Beckford 16, Anthony Hughes 16, Max Whitlock 15, Joseph Ben-Aderet 14, Matthew Batterham 14, Andrew Tucker 13, Anthony Wise 13.  We all work and train really hard to get great results at competitions throughout the year.

After the National finals in May 2007 I was chosen to be part of The Elite  Performance Squad which trains 6 weeks a year at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
